Code of Conduct
A Culture of Ethical Integrity
More than anything, Aillio values open and honest communications with all entities we interact with, including potential customers and end-users, distributors and resellers, factories and vendors, and, perhaps most importantly, among ourselves. Integrity must always come first.
Our Employees
Aillio is devoted to equal opportunity for all, irrespective of race, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
Actions speak louder than words, and we demonstrate our commitment through the actual diversity of our workforce, which includes employees from Denmark, Taiwan, the United States, Thailand, Chile, Italy, Belize, and Malaysia.
We foster an inclusive office environment in which all employees are encouraged to speak their minds without fear, and strive to create comfortable spaces and frequent opportunities to nurture the free flow of ideas.
As such, we do not tolerate any form of harassment. Everyone is to be respected, even when disagreements arise.
Our employees are our greatest asset, and they deserve to feel valued as such. Our pay is fair, and all employees are automatically enrolled in our profit sharing system, in which their efforts will be rewarded.
We respect a healthy work-life balance. We do not ask or expect our employees to work long hours — if we find that employees need to work overtime, then we hire new employees to ease their burden. We encourage each other to take time off from work, with paid vacation days far in excess of what is required by law.
Because employee health is of paramount concern to us, Aillio provides a safe, healthy working environment. This means comfortable chairs, neat and spacious environments, and many, many windows through which the sun can shine.
Our Customers
Aillio is transparent in our relations with our customers. We will never mislead them in our marketing efforts, believing instead that a reputation built on mutual trust is the only way forward.
We honor all of our obligations and take pride in our customer service by fulfilling all valid warranty claims and providing excellent, timely after-sales service that goes above and beyond the expectations of our customers.
When in doubt, we err on the side of the customer.
Our dealings with distributors should be equally transparent, and also built on trust. We do our best to perform due diligence when approving new business relationships by first vetting companies to ensure their values align with our own, asking them to read and sign our Distributor Guidelines before we begin a working relationship.
We do our best to ensure that end-users who purchased our products from a distributor or reseller are being taken care of, even if it means that we must provide additional support using our own resources.
Our Suppliers
As a company focused on quality rather than cost savings, we must choose our vendors carefully, performing due dilligence to ensure they, too, provide safe, healthy working environments for their employees and are in compliance with RoHS.
We strive to set clear expectations for how our relationships will work moving forward, and to meet all of our obligations towards vendors by honoring contracts and paying our bills on time.
Law
Aillio always seeks to comply with all international, national, and local legislation affecting our operations. We will not support child labor. We will not tolerate bribery. We will not make any financial contributions or offer support to any political party. We will always meet our tax obligations.
